Jama

I grew up in the small town of Falköping, in the heart of Sweden, before moving to Skövde, where I began to discover my creative identity.
My journey with photography began in 2018, when I received my first full paycheck and decided to invest it in a camera. With no prior experience or formal knowledge of photography, I started from scratch. I later took a few online courses, but much of what I know today was learned through experimentation, practice, and teaching myself along the way.
I was immediately drawn to portrait photography and the power of capturing genuine emotion. What began as a passion gradually evolved into a freelance career, taking me across Sweden for portrait sessions, events, weddings, and product photography.
Over time, I began looking beyond traditional photography. I started creating compositions from photographs I had taken myself, transforming them into art pieces that are not bound by a particular moment or era. This became the foundation of my artistic vision: creating work that feels timeless.
Today, I am building on that vision with the hope of sharing my art with the world. My ambition is to one day see my work displayed in galleries across the globe.
What started with a dream, curiosity, and a camera has grown into something much bigger—a dream that I am determined to turn into reality.
